Children's Books Exhibition-cum-Presentation "Our Favourite Books", dedicated to the "International Day of Children's Books" and "Year of Russian Language the World Over", was held at the Russian Centre of Science & Culture (RCSC), 24, Ferozeshah Road, New Delhi, on April 25, 2007.

Mrs. Maria B. Pavlova, Senior Executive and Programme Co-ordinator, RCSC, spelled out the significance of children's books underlining the great importance of Russian children's literature for obtaining knowledge about Russia.
The occasion also marked the 120th anniversary of famous Russian poet on children's literature Samuil Marshak. A Russian fairy tale movie "Golden Horns", directed by Alexander Row, was also screened to the great enthusiasm and delight of the large gathering of students.

The students and teachers shared their opinions and impressions from Russian children books both in English and Russian which were read by them.
Special Russian children's books exhibition was on display on the occasion.
Teachers and students from D.P.S., Gaziabad, Springdales Schools from Pusa Road and Daula Kuam where Russian language is studied were present at the function.
